Checking your tyres regularly is an important part of keeping you safe on the road as they’re one of the most valuable parts of your vehicle. We recommend checking your tyres before every long journey, specifically looking at the tread depth, pressure and the general condition of each tyre. The legal minimum for tread depth is 1.6mm - if your tyres are below this you could be at risk of getting a fine and point on your driving licence.
If you’re unsure on how to check your tyres tread depth, you can always come into our garage and we’ll be happy to check them for you.
