Sandhurst MoT was registered on 15 April 1994.
Before that, we started in a lock up garage in Sandhurst, under the name of “Doc’s Autos” as a partnership.
This was dissolved when one of the partners emigrated to Australia. Phil Goswell (one of the original partners) then took the reins with his wife Tricia and Sandhurst MoT Centre Ltd has grown steadily to become a strong local independent company.
We have an excellent and loyal customer base, with a reputation built up on trust, excellent service and flexibility.
We offer Vehicle Servicing, Repairs, Clutches, Cam belts, Brake replacement, as well as a keenly competitive tyre department, all under one roof!
The workshop technicians are kept up to date with the latest technology through onsite training with the RMI (Retail Motor Industry Federation) and on-line updates and information from Autodata Diagnostics and Repair.
We have the latest scan tools from Bosch and Snap On to aide diagnosis.
Once again a fair few of my customer’s and friend’s have been asking “what are you doing for charity this year Phil”? No pressure then?
So as I had already entered for the Liverpool Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon I felt that I should take this opportunity to once again raise much needed funds for the Make a Wish Foundation, making dreams come true for terminally ill children.
I am hoping that you guys can support me and by making donations this will encourage me and my tired legs to make it around the course on 28th May. Knowing that you guys are rooting for me and cheering me every step of the way whilst collecting pennies for Make a Wish makes it all worthwhile.
As ever, all donations are gratefully received, whether they be big or small.
My training has started, although I always find it harder to train in the cold, dark evenings. Hopefully I shall be in peak condition when the time arrives. Not looking at breaking any records though (or legs)!
Once again, thank you for your continued support and please watch the Just Giving page (link below) or the Sandhurst MOT Centre and Sandhurst Tyres FB pages for regular updates.
Over the years, the owner of Sandhurst MOT, Phil Goswell, and the staff have raised thousands of pounds for many different charities.
Cycle rides across Brazil and Mexico, Lands End to John O’Groats, London to Brighton, Camberley to Portsmouth to name but a few of the many Bike Rides for charities.
The London Marathon, Great North Run, Great South Run and many more other local running events have also helped raise money.
The lads from Sandhurst Tyres have also raised money by successfully completing a parachute jump. The charities that have benefited from our efforts are as follows:
